About Peleg Design

The world of PELEG DESIGN revolves around three basic principles: functionality, aesthetics, and humor. It is a world motivated by continuous curiosity with the explicit purpose to transform what was once an average, been-there-done-that concept into an innovative and truly exciting experience.

PELEG DESIGN studio was founded in 2004 by Shahar Peleg, who holds a B.A. in Design and Interior Architecture from the Holon Institute of Technology (HIT).

The studio’s products are designed to be used in homes, offices and other living spaces. Beyond the product, Shahar provides the observer with a complete, all inclusive experience. Through optical illusions that stretch the limits and break conventions, he invites the viewer to take a closer look, revealing a fresh view of everyday products.

The viewer is encouraged to discover that beyond the products' functionality there is a surprising game of enchantment and humor to be seen.

PELEG DESIGN’s products are sold worldwide. They can be found in select gift shops and in museum stores around the world. The products have been exhibited at numerous international exhibitions and have won prestigious design prizes worldwide.

      Shahar Peleg

      Designer and Owner

Shahar graduated from the Holon Institute of Technology. Shahar has the constant urge to look for a different perspective, to ever pursue that untouched territory, that one extra element, that WOW factor. His working methods make him achieve perfect harmony between product functionality, design and its accessibility to people. Shahar finds his inspiration in all of those hidden, forgotten, little details. He combines and folds then into a need, an idea, and finally a product. He is deeply devoted to his three daughters and his work. Not necessarily in that order...

      Commercial Manager

Studio chief administrator. Or likes to swim, travel, and get a nice tan. But in spite of his layback appearance, nothing escapes his watchful eyes. From the biggest task to the smallest detail, everything under his watch is analyzed, treated and executed to perfection. Or has the ability to always tie up all loose ends and handle things with very special care.

      Ben Broyde

Ben graduated with honors from the Holon Institute of Technology. He is devoted to his work, his friends, the piano, and to the ritual of putting everything in place, five minutes before bedtime. He strongly believes that a good design should make you happy like a child getting a new toy. For Ben – 190 centimeters of pure talent – the sky is the limit, both literally and professionally.

      Hila Raam

Hila graduated with honors from the Hadassah Academic College Jerusalem and currently is an M.A. student at Jerusalem's Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design. As in love at first sight, Hila likes her favorite products to be sexy and appealing at first, and useful and functional later. She often switches between one creative hobby to another and is constantly inspired by colors, shapes and people.

      Shahar Kagan

Shahar graduated from the Holon Institute of Technology. He caught the design fever at the age of five, seconds after taking apart an innocent VCR. Since then, broken and damaged things became Shahar's favorite sources of inspiration. Personal motto: good design is all about making other designers feel like idiots because that idea wasn’t theirs.
